About the role
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role requiring previous experience managing high-volume locations.
Responsibilities
- Works with the leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them
- Leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and direction
- Might be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers
- Ensures the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future
Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations
- A background in quick-service restaurants is preferred
- Open availability and reliable transportation are required
