General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and create a plan to achieve them.
• Leads a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction.
• Improves restaurant performance by enhancing departmental performance.
• Might be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• One year of restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations preferred.
• Experience in quick service restaurants or hospitality/re retail industry preferred.

$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
