General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Previous restaurant management experience and/or retail experience are required, with Quick Service Restaurant Management experience being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them
• Leads a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction
• Hires and develops Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future
• Ensures the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations
• Previous McDonald’s experience preferred
• A background in quick service restaurants or hospitality/review desired
• Must be 18 years or older to be a Restaurant Manager in locally owned and operated restaurants

Qualifications

Competitive pay starting at $55,000 per year/salary, with a performance-based bonus program paid out monthly. Ability to earn an additional $2200 per month when bonus targets are met. Skills

Strong leadership skills, ability to manage a team, and experience in managing high-volume locations are essential.
