General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Department Managers, each with specific responsibilities in the restaurant
• Help Department Managers set their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their Departments
• Drive overall restaurant improvement by developing each Department
• May be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations
• Background in quick service restaurants strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
