General Manager
About the role
The ideal candidate should have McDonald’s managerial experience or equivalent in quick service restaurants. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a major plus, along with basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and profitability by adhering to the SHG Business Plan.
- Produce manager schedules, requests/punches & approvals.
- Submit daily and weekly deposits, payroll & safe accountability & audits.
- Collaborate with the kitchen department manager on initiatives such as food safety checks and calibrations, operating supply inventory & ordering.
- Monitor kitchen operational metrics and targets.
- Work with the guest service manager on initiatives related to hospitality standards & overall guest satisfaction, POP and signage.
- Collaborate with the people department manager on ongoing team training, promotions, recognition & turnover, and team schedules.
Requirements
The candidate must have reliable transportation, be authorized to work in the United States, and pass a background check.
Qualifications
The candidate should be available to work an average of 45-48 hours per week, including a mix of dayparts to address restaurant needs, and 2 Sundays, 2 Fridays, and 2 closings.
Skills
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, basic computer skills, and McDonald’s managerial experience or equivalent in quick service restaurants are essential qualifications.
