General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role requiring previous experience managing high-volume locations.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve restaurant goals under the guidance of a leader
• Lead a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction
• Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for future needs
• Manage staff schedules and ensure reliable transportation and open availability

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations
• A background in quick-service restaurants
