About the role

As experts in hotel operations creating memorable guest experiences, this position supports the vision, core values, and goals of the organization by focusing on exceptional service and team member development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support hotel properties and staff.
  • Provide expert leadership across all departments of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service to guests and training, developing, and coaching team members.
  • Cultivate an environment of exceptional guest service by establishing high service standards through hiring the right team members.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members in all areas of the hotel, showcasing experience throughout the property.
  • Lead the team in quality assurance best practices each day, consistently meeting or exceeding quality assurance visit measurables.
  • Deliver on key business measures of service, cost, and labor controls, and team engagement through hands-on leadership, delegation, and empowerment.
  • Use good critical thinking skills to handle challenging situations, proactively resolve issues, and demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A positive, can-do attitude is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of general manager experience with demonstrated leadership success is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in leading teams and managing multiple departments within a hotel setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in hotel management.
