Lead the entire store team to excellence in team member engagement, guest satisfaction, and financial performance by overseeing daily operations and implementing a growth-focused strategy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the retail store is fully staffed with the right talent to meet standard work expectations and optimize productivity through effective scheduling.
- Lead store teams to execute channel strategy, meet sales and profit goals, and achieve customer satisfaction targets.
- Drive profitable outcomes by implementing Sales Leadership and Operations Standard Work.
- Foster a “Guest First” culture by measuring and responding to guest feedback, in-store engagement, and satisfaction tools.
- Identify gaps in current operations and create business plans to improve people and processes.
- Collaborate with Regional Director, Corporate Retail Operations, and cross-functional partners to develop customer service strategies that build brand awareness and drive sales.
- Execute strategic opportunities for the store, working cross-functionally to develop and implement new concepts or processes.
- Align store strategies with company and division OKRs to meet or exceed planned goals.
- Prepare and execute a talent management plan using a 4½ box and succession planning strategy.
- Recruit, lead, and develop team members to build passionate, high-performance teams.
- Host ongoing talent conversations to develop leadership skills and build store “bench strength.”
- Act as a Leadership Champion, driving change through personal leadership and performance management.
- Inspire and guide teams through coaching, mentoring, and leading by example.
- Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for performance results.
- Manage budget, resources, staffing, and operations in alignment with business priorities.
- Own the P&L and make financial decisions to ensure store and company profitability.
- Ensure brand presentation aligns with Style Guides.
- Drive results by focusing on SOPs, retail processes, and procedures.
- Engage store TEC teams to develop plans and strategies that enhance employee engagement.
- Partner on community efforts to promote the brand.
- Open and close the store as needed, including securing the building and managing alarms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college in business, retail management, sales, merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in a direct customer-interactive environment; 3 years of management experience in a high-volume setting (required).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Pay
Hiring range: $105,000 – $140,200 per year. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt team members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by law and company policy.
