Assistant General Manager

About the role

At Buffalo Wild Wings, every shift is an opportunity to create legendary experiences for guests and team members. As an Assistant General Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant operates at the top of its game, driving guest-related metrics and engagement. You’ll manage Shift Managers, Servers, Bartenders, and Service Assistants while fostering a culture of high energy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Shift Managers, Servers, Bartenders, and Service Assistants to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain operational excellence and top performance in guest-related metrics.
• Focus on guest engagement and satisfaction to create moments worth sharing.
• Champion change, drive team development, and uphold training standards.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health codes, safe food handling, responsible alcohol service, and safety/security procedures.

Requirements

• 3 years of restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience.
• General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, and computer operations.
• Ability to manage and direct the work of others, champion change, and passion for training and developing teams.

Pay

$63,000 - $77,000 per year. Actual placement within this range will vary based on experience, education, training, and location.
