About the role
As a General Manager at Krispy Kreme, you are the leader of all things doughnuts at our retail location. You will oversee all aspects of production, sales, and human resources, develop a staff of professional employees, strive to obtain maximum revenue, and ensure both customer and employee satisfaction. You will also maintain a thorough understanding of production and uphold a high level of quality products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a role model for customer-first behaviors according to company standards.
- Build a team of customer-focused employees through coaching and performance management.
- Ensure all products meet Krispy Kreme quality standards and guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Maintain all store physical property in good working condition.
- Direct and manage store sales efforts, which may include Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and suggestive selling.
- Achieve business plan objectives and profitability according to the store operating plan and established financial goals.
- Demonstrate safety consciousness and promote store safety (e.g., shoes, floor cones).
- Maintain a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in QSR or retail environment in a management capacity required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays and weekends.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to nurture an equitable, unbiased culture where employees are empowered to showcase their originality.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Physical demands and working conditions
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Exposure to internal and external environmental conditions in the shop, including fluctuating temperatures and noise levels.
- Exposure to known allergens, including but not limited to nuts.
- Adherence to dress code policy applicable to the role.
- Noise levels typical of a production and/or processing area.
