General Manager

About the role

Brunswick Beaches Campground offers a beautiful, laid‑back atmosphere on the North Carolina coast with 84 sites and 5 cabins minutes from fresh seafood and outdoor activities. We are seeking a full‑time, friendly, guest‑oriented General Manager to lead the property and help make it one of the region’s top outdoor hospitality destinations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the campground and cabin operation to maintain high hospitality standards.
• Manage the property budget and oversee retail sales.
• Maintain basic campground infrastructure and equipment.
• Build, train, and lead a team of staff members.
• Provide world‑class guest experiences and service.
• Demonstrate a can‑do mentality and willingness to go the extra mile for team and guests.

Requirements

• Minimum five years' experience in Resort Operations, including three years at the General Manager level.
• Previous RV resort management experience is highly preferred.
• Energetic, creative, entrepreneurial, and detail‑oriented.
• Passion for hospitality and the great outdoors.
• Ability to work independently and get tasks done.
• Proven experience training and coaching teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Dropbox.
• Thorough understanding of reservation software.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Skill in delivering excellent customer service and training.
• Ability to operate listed equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of recreation facilities operations.
