GENERAL MANAGER

About the role

The General Manager oversees both the Lakeway and Bee Cave (Hill Country Galleria) locations of Winston’s, a coffee and provisions retailer. This role requires hands-on management, team leadership, and efficient operation of the business.

Responsibilities

• Full day-to-day operations across both locations
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and management of all store employees
• Coaching and development of shift leads and key team members
• Labor management, including scheduling to sales and controlling overtime
• Inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and waste management
• Food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Guest experience and resolution of customer issues
• Opening, closing, cash handling, and operational procedures
• Health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Maintenance coordination and ensuring equipment issues are handled quickly
• Reviewing weekly sales, labor, COGS, and other key operating metrics
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability
• Serving as the primary point person for day-to-day operational decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant, café, or hospitality management experience
• Proven experience managing teams, schedules, labor, and inventory
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials and operating metrics
• Confident, calm, and solutions-oriented leadership style
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions
• Willing to be hands-on and present in both locations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Genuinely enjoys hospitality, people, and building a great team culture

Qualifications

• Multi-unit management experience preferred

Pay

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually, based on experience
