General Manager

About the role

EquipmentShare is hiring a General Manager at our rental facility in Okmulgee, OK. We’re transforming how construction companies manage their equipment and operations with our proprietary T3 technology, providing real-time insights into fleet availability, usage, and performance. We’re looking for someone ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help build the future of construction.

Responsibilities

• Build an awesome team by hiring and developing amazing people, conducting reviews, and providing performance evaluations.
• Train employees, offer guidance for improvement, and document efforts for skill development and corrections.
• Manage branch operations to maximize financial success, conducting monthly profit and loss reviews to identify trends, improvements, and revenue opportunities.
• Monitor key metrics such as equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with your team and management, establishing measurable goals with clear expectations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and legal regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of rental industry experience, preferably in a management role.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
