Business Planning
- Execute the restaurant's business plan as directed by the District Manager (DM), seeking guidance and coaching from the owner and DM.
- Analyze and take corrective action on issues affecting the Store's profit and loss (P&L) to optimize sales and profit.
- Maintain inventory levels and adjust labor accordingly based on projected restaurant demand changes throughout the year.
- Ensure adherence to cash control and security procedures.
- Understand and manage the financial implications of workers' compensation claims.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase average meal checks and the frequency of Fan visits.
Fan Service
- Ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards.
- Establish and maintain standards for managing customer concerns and complaints.
- Promptly and appropriately address customer complaints to resolve issues and convert dissatisfied customers into return Fans.
- Build and maintain relationships with return or preferred patrons.
- Assist the DM with hiring, training, coaching, and developing shift leads and crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
- Provide thorough training and new hire orientations, clearly communicating job expectations and providing ongoing feedback.
- Monitor employee performance and job contributions, fostering a positive working climate.
Role Model and Enforce Policies
- Model and enforce policies and procedures within the restaurant.
- At a minimum, have a basic understanding of preparing hourly employee schedules to meet staffing requirements for each day part and seasonal demands, as determined by the DM.
- Ideally, be able to perform this task for review and approval by the DM.
