General Manager
About the Role
Crawlspace Medic is the leading franchise in the crawl space and basement repair industry. We offer a unique path to franchise ownership for individuals who may not have the capital to front the franchise fee and launch costs. Investors—current franchisees who believe in the system—will fund the market, and you will run it: managing people, P&L, and performance. As the business grows and hits its numbers, you buy out the investor’s stake and become the franchisee, owning the business outright. This model has been successfully executed 35 times.
You’ll start on a base salary with uncapped profit share on top. Earnings are performance-driven—the better the market performs, the more you earn, and the closer you move toward ownership. This is a hands-on role where you’ll sell, coach your team, and perform inspections yourself until you’ve built a capable team.
Who Thrives Here
This is a blue-collar business built in the field, not a desk job. We’ve seen success from individuals with diverse backgrounds—veterans, ministry leaders, equipment sales reps, former athletes, and more. What matters most is character:
- Servant-hearted leadership
- A willingness to do the work before delegating it
- The grit to be the last line of accountability when things go wrong
This is an opportunity to build a business with your name on the door—a future for your family that you control, not shareholders or a corporation.
Requirements
- A track record of leading teams to measurable results in a process-driven, labor-intensive environment
- Experience building or enforcing standard operating procedures
- A proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain strong people
- The discipline to have hard conversations early, not after they’ve festered
- An understanding of sales, marketing, and capacity planning at the unit level
- Comfort being held fully accountable for results
- A hunger for feedback and improvement, not validation
- The grit to operate under pressure without losing focus
Physical Demands
Expect to crawl on your hands and knees and belly-crawl through tight, dark spaces; maneuver in confined areas; and handle light hand tools as needed. If getting dirty and working under houses isn’t something you’re willing to do, this role may not be the right fit.
Benefits
- Full-time, W-2, salary exempt position
- Base salary + uncapped profit sharing
- Company vehicle
- 2 weeks PTO
- Hands-on training and a real leadership development path

These figures do not include the value of ownership once you buy into the franchise.
