About the role
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and performance of a CSI branch office. This role oversees sales, operations, project execution, service, and administration while driving revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance and daily operations of the branch, including Sales, Operations, Service, Project Management, and Administration.
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and promoting CSI's full portfolio of low-voltage solutions.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and lead sales, technical, project management, and administrative teams.
- Oversee project execution to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, profitability, and resource planning.
- Utilize knowledge of low-voltage systems, blueprints, specifications, contracts, submittals, labor planning, material management, and change orders to support successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and industry partners.
- Establish performance expectations, coach team members, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable industry regulations.
- Champion workplace safety by promoting a culture where safety is the highest priority.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in the commercial low-voltage, fire alarm, security integration, or communications industry.
- Demonstrated success leading sales, operations, service, or project teams with responsibility for business performance.
- Strong knowledge of commercial Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Audio Visual, DAS/ERCES, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic, and related low-voltage systems.
- Proven business development experience with strong customer relationship management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, job costing, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction, contracts, project execution, scheduling, and change order management.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

Posted Salary Range: USD $150,000.00 - USD $350,000.00 /Yr, with potential performance-based incentive earnings.
