General Manager

About the Role

We are searching for qualified candidates with experience managing multi-site properties, new construction, and directing onsite property teams. Candidates must ensure property owners’ objectives are achieved by maintaining well-kept properties and maximizing occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Assess market conditions and develop strategies aligned with owners’ needs to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Develop and implement budgets in accordance with the owner’s financial goals.
• Manage and motivate onsite property teams to maintain properties and achieve leasing targets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industry experience in a management role (preferred).
• Minimum 2–4 years of new construction and lease-up experience in conventional and/or affordable housing.
• College degree or equivalent work experience; CPM certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Financial background including budget preparation, expense management, purchase order approval, and income/expense report review.
• Proven lease-up experience.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong presentation skills.
