Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day business operations while driving profitable growth.
- Own the business unit's profit and loss performance and achieve annual revenue and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that support long-term expansion.
- Build, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across sales, operations, project management, administration, and support functions.
- Create a culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Review sales activity, forecasts, pipelines, and operational performance to ensure objectives are consistently achieved.
- Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers and partners.
- Personally participate in high-value sales opportunities and key customer meetings.
- Analyze financial performance, margins, operating expenses, and business trends to make informed decisions.
- Read and interpret financial statements and P&L reports to improve overall business performance.
- Partner with accounting and administrative leadership to monitor budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
- Establish performance metrics and hold the team accountable for achieving results.
- Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high quality standards and excellent customer service.
- Oversee facility operations, inventory, equipment, and office management as needed.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales or business development experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience leading teams and driving performance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage revenue, profitability, and operational performance.
- Proven history of growing sales, expanding market share, and developing customer relationships.
- Experience leading both sales and operational functions.
- Comfortable reviewing financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and P&L statements.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with business reporting and data analysis.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel approximately 40-50%.
- Valid driver's license.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and occasionally working at heights when necessary.
