General Manager

About the role

Zaxby's is seeking a General Manager for its upcoming Grand Opening in Keystone Heights, Florida, scheduled for October 2025. Starting salaries range from $55,000 to $60,000 annually, with a quarterly bonus structure tied to performance and profit.

Responsibilities

• Engage in enhancing guest experiences by meeting and exceeding their expectations.
• Increase sales and profits by building community relationships and providing exceptional products and services.
• Ensure an effective work schedule is posted weekly.
• Demonstrate effective interviewing skills for hiring top performers.
• Manage and orient all levels of the team.
• Ensure all training and certification processes are in place and fully compliant.
• Provide clear development plans and performance reviews for management staff.
• Execute quarterly business plans using various resources.
• Aid in executing marketing plans under the supervision of Area Development Managers or Market Development Managers.
• Mentor Assistant Managers in running a Zaxby's unit and prepare them for advancement.
• Review daily numbers and coach and praise employees' performance.
• Lead by fostering excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment towards company objectives.
• Maintain a flexible attitude that allows for performance beyond the scope of this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience (preferred).
• Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 40 to 50 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successfully completed background check.
• Completed in-store training program.
• Passed the Online ZFI AM test with a score of 90% or above.
• Completed Phase III GM certification.
• Passed the In-store ZFI Kitchen Demonstrative with a score of 90% or above.
• Food Manager Certification.
