General Manager

About the role

The General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the location. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manages hiring, scheduling, and training of Team Members
• Maintains safety procedures and conducts daily safety meetings
• Conducts performance evaluations and coaching sessions
• Ensures cleanliness and proper inventory management
• Manages product and equipment inventories
• Reviews and reconciles invoices
• Solves complex problems and communicates with corporate office
• Trains and informs Team Members about pricing promotions and policy changes
• Evaluates and documents return jobs
• Updates national accounts and works alongside Team Members
• Assists with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current valid driver’s license and insurability to drive
• Basic keyboarding and computer skills
• Able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed
• Reliable transportation and phone
• Ability to communicate in English

• Must have a basic understanding of computer operations
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
