General Manager

About the role

The Hotel General Manager (GM) leads all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring financial success, guest satisfaction, and team development while upholding our mission, vision, and values. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive, self-starting individual with 24/7 availability to ensure excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including housekeeping, food & beverage, and front desk services.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Manage staff performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with other departments to address operational issues and improve efficiency.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and present monthly reports to upper management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in upscale or luxury settings.
• Proven track record of successful leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of 100+ employees.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including finance, marketing, and customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

$65,000 - $70,000/year
