General Manager / Assistant Manager Position

About the role

This job is for a Salaried General Manager or Assistant Manager position. If hired, you will be hired as an assistant manager at one of our locations with the opportunity to become a General Manager. We need to ensure you have the proper training in all departments and have the leadership skills required to run a successful restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Runs a profitable restaurant
• Makes sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
• Works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals
• Leads a team of Department Managers that have specific responsibilities in the restaurant
• Hires and develops Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future

Requirements

• Previous General Manager Experience running high volume locations
• A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants
• Must be able to transfer to any of our locations in the southwest suburbs of Chicago (Tinley Park, Frankfort, Oak Forest, New Lenox, Monee, Manhattan and Wilmington)
