General Manager / Assistant Manager Position

About the role

This job is for a Salaried General Manager or Assistant Manager position. If hired, you will be hired as an assistant manager at one of our locations with the opportunity to become a General Manager. We need to ensure you have the proper training in all departments and have the leadership skills required to run a successful restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Runs a profitable restaurant and ensures the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
• Leads a team of Department Managers that have specific responsibilities in the restaurant.
• Hires and develops Department and Shift Managers to make sure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.

Requirements

• Previous General Manager Experience running high volume locations.
• A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
• Must be able to transfer to any of our locations in the southwest suburbs of Chicago (Tinley Park, Frankfort, Oak Forest, New Lenox, Monee, Manhattan and Wilmington).

Qualifications

Skills

Strong leadership skills, ability to manage a team, and proficiency in managing a high-volume restaurant environment.

Pay
