General Manager/Assistant General Manager
Requirements
- 5+ years of management experience required.
- 5+ years of customer service experience required.
- Previous McDonald's General Manager/Assistant General Manager experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This involves setting the restaurant’s goals, creating a plan to achieve them, and leading a team of Department Managers. The General Manager works closely with Department Managers to help them set their own goals, monitor their progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments. Additionally, the General Manager may be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for future needs.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
