About the role
The General Manager is responsible for driving top-line revenue, improving efficiency, and increasing profits while managing the overall operations of their assigned Direct Distribution location(s).
Responsibilities
- Drive daily business operations through effective leadership of sales, service, and installation at the distribution location(s)
- Partner with the Commercial Regional GM to design and execute high-impact sales strategies that accelerate revenue growth and market penetration
- Own financial performance by managing budgets, analyzing P&L statements, and other financial reports to make data-driven decisions that maximize profitability
- Champion customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback, resolving escalations, and holding the team accountable to delivering a high-quality experience at every touchpoint with sales, installation, and service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve operational workflows, and drive continuous improvement across the distribution location(s)
- Lead all people operations and talent development in partnership with Corporate HR, to create a team of high performers that contribute to the success of the collective distribution team
- Partner with the NA Operations team to support efficient parts and warehouse functions at the distribution location(s)
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
- At least 6 years of work experience in leading teams, sales, and customer/account management with proven track record of success
- Hands-on experience managing a P&L to track performance and drive accountability
- Proven successful track record with sales forecast accuracy
- Working knowledge of management software programs including QuickBooks and SAP strongly preferred
- Proficiency leveraging Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and presentations

Standard and Physical Requirements
- Position involves sitting for prolonged periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending
- Position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally. For greater weight items assistive devices will be provided
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
Benefits
For California, Colorado, and Washington, the compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 plus eligible for bonus. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
