General Manager 4 - Food

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 4 - Food and Nutrition Services to lead daily foodservice operations for two hospitals: HMH Old Bridge Medical Center (113 beds) and Raritan Bay Medical Center (365 beds), both community hospitals within the Hackensack Meridian Health network, located in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at two locations
• Deliver high-quality food service
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Create and execute strategic plans
• Foster a positive work environment
• Ensure Sodexo Standards are met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven strong leadership skills and previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Culinary production experience with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• Multi-unit management experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills
• Passion for high-level customer service
• Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility for additional responsibilities
• Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC)
• Proficiency in computer skills and report management

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, 5 years of management experience, and 5 years of functional experience.
