About the role

Our General Managers have the great and challenging role of overseeing all aspects of the store with a “treat it like you own it” philosophy. Stores operate on a one-shift model. Leaders start as early as 4am to do the first bake and open the store. During the day you’ll ensure the store is audit-ready, catering/mobile/in-store orders are executed, and customers have an exceptional experience. During breakfast and lunch rushes, GMs float in all positions where needed, manage breaks, and drive strong customer survey results. After doors close at 2pm, it typically takes 30-45 minutes to close and prep for the next day. You can handle scheduling, ordering, or inventory before the team arrives or after they leave, make the daily deposit, and finish well before dinner.

We prepare you to manage all of this with 5 weeks of training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations with an ownership mindset
• Maintain audit readiness and execute catering, mobile, and in-store orders
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences and strong survey results
• Work all positions during peak rushes and manage team breaks
• Close the store and prep for the next day (30-45 minutes)
• Handle scheduling, ordering, inventory, and daily deposits
• Recruit quality team members and develop internal talent
• Manage P&L, food costs, and labor targets

Requirements

• 1-3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
• Hands-on leadership with ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Proven strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets
• Must be at least 18 years old

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.40 - $40.95 per hour. Starting pay subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position.

Schedule

One-shift model: 4am start (varies), doors close at 2pm, 30-45 minutes closing duties.
