General Manager 3 Food - K12 Schools
About the role
Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 to lead dining operations for West Warwick Public Schools, a long-standing K-12 partnership in central Rhode Island.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of food service operations across the school district, ensuring exceptional service and program compliance
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and achieving operational targets
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, federal and state nutrition requirements, food safety standards, and Sodexo policies
- Develop, coach, and engage frontline managers and employees to build a strong, service-focused team culture
- Foster positive partnerships with district administrators, staff, students, families, and community stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and student participation
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Associate’s degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field
- Minimum Management Experience: 3 Years
- Minimum Functional Experience: 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
