General Maintenance Worker

About the role

As a General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Perform tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance, and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman.
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of related experience.
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be performed.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurture a healthy/safe working environment for all.

Schedule

Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay

$18.00 per hour - $21.76 per hour
