About the role
As a General Maintenance Technician at Just Tires, you will perform hands-on line services, diagnostics, and maintenance while delivering outstanding customer service. You will gain experience with brakes, alignments, fluid exchanges, tire installation, and other automotive systems in a fast-paced environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving
- Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
- Mentor junior automotive technicians
- Conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation
- Document all work performed on repair orders
- Report safety issues immediately to management
- Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting consumer tires/wheels, standing, bending, and squatting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- ASE Certification preferred
- Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
- Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition systems
