Job Description

• Checks and prioritizes work orders on a daily basis and completes them within a reasonable length of time.
• Communicates with Lead Nursing personnel in order to schedule repairs within patient units/rooms when necessary.
• Maintains all doors, locks and closers.
• Makes, installs, or contracts more complex signs.
• Receives materials, verifies quality, quantity, pricing, and completed material safety data sheets (MSDS) are supplied.
• Signs packing slips and delivers them to assigned person by end of shift.
• Serves as liaison with General Maintenance Foreman reporting pending repairs as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains assigned equipment in proper working order.

• Possesses intimate knowledge of emergency response procedures for all plant equipment/utilities, and demonstrates the ability to carry out procedures.
