General Maintenance Operative

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Painting & Decorating - Tiling - Minor plumbing/leak detection - Basic Carpentry - Water Hygiene tasks - Replacing door handles / doors - Keeping logbooks up to date - Unblocking sinks/toilets - Changing lamps - Proactively identifying and reporting faults - Keeping a PDA up to date through our CAFM system and clients

Skills & Qualifications

Required Knowledge & Understanding: - A good working knowledge of basic plumbing maintenance. - A good understanding of tiling and carpentry. - Must be able to show good handyman skills. - Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities. - Full and clean driving licence (vehicle provided) Qualifications: - Evidence of relevant trade training or maintenance-related courses
