General Maintenance Mechanic, 2nd Shift
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide which sections to include. The posting includes: Job Description (general description), Responsibilities (Examples of duties), Qualifications (Minimum qualifications, Licenses, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Physical and Environmental Conditions, Conditions of Employment), Benefits (BCPS offers a comprehensive benefits program...), Pay (Salary $22.42 - $33.86 hourly), maybe Schedule? Not explicitly. There's mention of "Essential Personnel" and overtime, but not schedule specifics. So we can include Pay section. Also maybe "About Us" could be considered "About the role"? But "About Us" is about the organization, not the role. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could map "About Us" to "About the role"? Might be okay but it's about the organization. However we could include an "About the role" section summarizing the job description (the first paragraph). That seems appropriate.
We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. We'll not include job title.
We need to remove application instructions, boilerplate, etc. Also remove duplicated lines.
We need to preserve all substantive information: duties list, qualifications, benefits, pay, conditions of employment, etc.
We need to format duties as
- . For responsibilities we have a long list of duties; we can put them as list items.
Qualifications: we have multiple subparts: Education, Training And Experience; Licenses And Certificates; Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities; Physical And Environmental Conditions; Conditions Of Employment. Could group under Qualifications heading with sub-sections? But we only allowed headings from list; we could still use
for Qualifications and inside use
or
. Could also break into multiple sections like Requirements, Skills, but we should avoid thin sections. Probably best to have one Qualifications section with subpoints as or . However we need to preserve all details; we can use nested lists? The instruction says use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can make a list for qualifications items.
Similarly Benefits: we have a paragraph describing benefits; we can make a list of benefit items (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 403(b)/457 plans, sick, paid holidays, personal business, bereavement days, flexible leave options such as FMLA, sick bank, board approved leaves). Also mention orientation.
Pay: we have salary range.
We should not include Schedule section because not specified.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
