General Maintenance / Housekeeping

Essential Functions

• Clean and maintain interior and exterior of facility
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Move waste from facility to dumpsters
• Abide by all the safety-training guidelines and operate within SOP stated in the Peddler’s Son Safety Manual
• Complete daily logs
• Keep and maintain inventory of materials and supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (must be able to read and do simple math)
• A valid Arizona driver’s license
• Self-motivated, organized, and have excellent communication skills
• Able to walk considerable distances in the facility during the course of his or her work
• Able to lift and raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during the shift
• Able to pull or push exerting force up to a certain number of pounds on a regular basis so that the object is moved to or away from the employee
• Able to carry on a regular basis, to carry objects in his or her arms or on the shoulder(s)
• Able to grasp regularly picking up objects with fingers
• Able to reach regularly; required to use the hands and arms to reach for objects
• Stooping and crouching required to bend forward by bending at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
