General Maintenance Engineer II

Qualifications

A General Maintenance Engineer II will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. This includes guest room and public area preventative maintenance.

• Valid California Driver’s License
• Working knowledge of power tools and related equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electro-mechanical systems successfully
• Willingness to take initiative and be innovative with problem solving
• Working knowledge of electricity and plumbing
• Working knowledge of pool equipment care
• Working knowledge of spa equipment care
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to take direction and work unsupervised

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation.

• 3 years previous maintenance experience in hotel, building or commercial building, or equivalent experience in a specialized trade
• CPR/first aid qualified
• Knowledge of HVAC/R

Pay

This position will pay $26.13/hour.
