General Maintenance Engineer A| Full Time

About the role

As a General Maintenance Engineer at Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, you will primarily handle general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas. Your responsibilities will include entry-level preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, as well as repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting and communication skills. You may also assist with shift coverage in other areas of the Engineering function.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
• Open and flexible schedule, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Good interpersonal skills
