Brunswick Thunder Jet Operations is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to join our talented team. We are a global marine leader dedicated to innovation and excellence in the marine recreation industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment and facilities.
• Use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Perform various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
• Work with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and staff.
• Aid in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
• Solid understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
• Work with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and staff.
• Aid in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, vocational courses, or apprenticeships in relevant fields are preferred.
• Prior experience (1-3+ years) as a maintenance worker or technician in facilities, property management, or industrial settings.
• Basic or higher computer skills.
• Detailed and organized.
• Self-starter, team player with good safety awareness.

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 3 $20.95-$21.75 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
