About the role
Brunswick Thunder Jet Operations is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to join our talented team. We are a global marine leader dedicated to innovation and excellence in the marine recreation industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment and facilities.
- Use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
- Work with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and staff.
- Aid in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Solid understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
- Work with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and staff.
- Aid in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, vocational courses, or apprenticeships in relevant fields are preferred.
- Prior experience (1-3+ years) as a maintenance worker or technician in facilities, property management, or industrial settings.
- Basic or higher computer skills.
- Detailed and organized.
- Self-starter, team player with good safety awareness.

Pay
