General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney

About the role

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney for our Savannah, GA office. This role involves making mission-critical decisions for the firm and playing a significant role in our success. Ideal candidates include newer lawyers looking for a foot in the door at the premier personal injury firm in the country or experienced lawyers seeking a less adversarial role with predictable hours.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily motor vehicle cases
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• Handle EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the GA State Bar Association
• Personal injury experience preferred
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Detail-oriented, understanding fact patterns

This role reports to the Pre-Suit Operations Manager.
