About the role

The Cincinnati, OH office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney for its General Liability Practice. The firm’s General Liability Practice includes over 600 attorneys nationwide who defend defendants in significant exposure cases across various general liability areas, including property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals, whether insured or self‑insured. The practice excels in the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation matters, and its attorneys have been recognized by the National Law Journal for obtaining a “Top Ten Defense Verdict of the Year” among other honors. Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
• Conduct hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Handle catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
