Key Responsibilities
- Litigation Leadership: Independently manage a diverse General Liability caseload including personal injury, products liability, and third-party insurance defense from inception through trial.
- Strategic Growth: Play a pivotal role in the firm’s Texas expansion, leveraging existing relationships with insurance carriers and corporate clients to build and sustain a local book of business.
- Trial Advocacy: Lead high-stakes depositions, mediations, and court appearances across various Texas jurisdictions.
- Mentorship & Team Building: Collaborate with our national leadership to recruit, supervise, and develop junior attorneys and legal support staff as the Texas team grows.
- Client Stewardship: Act as a primary advisor for clients, providing sophisticated legal analysis, risk assessment, and transparent reporting.
Technical Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Texas Bar Membership in good standing (or eligible for admission without examination/reciprocity).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of Insurance Defense litigation experience, with a focus on General Liability.
- Trial Experience: Proven track record as lead counsel in jury trials, with extensive experience in all phases of discovery and motion practice.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
