General Liability Claims Specialist I (Dedicated Account)
About the role
Zurich North America is seeking a Claims Specialist to handle Commercial General Liability (CGL) files for one of our largest customers. This role is available in Rocky Hill, CT, Schaumburg, IL, Parsippany, NJ, Addison, TX, or Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
- Handle multi-party CGL claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity within specific limits of authority
- Follow established protocols to ensure efficient and effective claim handling
- Deliver a customer-centric claims service
Requirements
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an associate degree and 2 or more years of experience in Claims or Insurance area OR Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 1 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area AND Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience handling Commercial General Liability claims including comprehensive investigation, coverage analysis, liability determination, and claim resolution 3+ years of experience handling Property Damage and Bodily Injury claims Carrier-side claims experience, with a strong understanding of insurance
Skills
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
- Microsoft Office experience

Zurich offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including a range of $49,500.00 - $81,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
