About the role
We are seeking a General Ledger Technology Analyst to join our ERP/General Ledger technology team. This role requires a strong business and accounting perspective, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, and proficiency in agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support General Ledger operations end-to-end
- Define, analyze, and translate detailed business requirements into technology solutions
- Contribute to large, multi-department implementations using agile techniques
- Manage external system integrations and resolve production issues
- Coordinate expense allocation processes and develop accounting operating procedures
- Provide analytics and insights in response to business questions
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge
Qualifications
- Three plus years of experience in financial reporting or General Ledger processing within a large organization (5,000+ employees)
- A solid understanding of enterprise financial systems, including data flow, balancing, and period-end close
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, or a demonstrated transition from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP solution
- Strong working knowledge of Excel; experience with SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, or similar query tools
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agility
- Experience with or curiosity about AI tools for data automation, balancing, or validation
- AWS services experience is useful
- Takes initiative, coordinates across teams, and supports colleagues
- A clear, confident communicator and relationship builder
