About the role
Oak Grove Technologies LLC Careers is seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support our mission-driven, veteran-focused organization. In this role, you will manage day-to-day GL activity, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close. You will analyze variances, maintain compliance with GAAP, and assist with audits and financial reporting. Partnering with operations and project teams, you'll help ensure accurate cost allocations for federal and defense contracts. This position offers exposure to specialized, high-impact projects and opportunities for growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger and daily accounting transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls
- Support internal and external audits with documentation
- Collaborate with project and operations teams on cost allocations
- Maintain accurate records for federal and defense contracts
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
