UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This position will be based in our headquarters in Chicago.
About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing projects within the Arctic operations and development sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans and timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manage project budgets and resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in Arctic operations and development industry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Project management software proficiency (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
- Knowledge of Arctic operations and development industry practices
