General Laborer

About the role

The General Laborer at Big Tex Trailer World is responsible for organizing and presenting outdoor trailer and product areas, maintaining the appearance of the lot, unloading, receiving freight, assembling trailers, assisting with service and maintenance duties, providing customer service, and supporting store sales and service activities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery
• Help customers hook-up trailers
• Perform visual safety inspections (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)
• Maintain the lot including mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies
• Support Service Technicians as needed
• Support opening and closing of the store as directed
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Available to work Monday – Saturday and overtime as needed
