General Laborer - Roanoke, VA

About the role

Mullens Markings Inc. is a full-service line striping and pavement marking company providing high-quality highway, roadway, and parking lot striping services throughout North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. We are seeking hardworking, dependable team members to join our growing crew.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare pavement surfaces for paint, epoxy, tape, or thermoplastic applications
• Apply pavement markings including:
  • Highway long lines
  • Intersection markings (arrows, messages, symbols)
  • Parking lot striping
• Lift, carry, load, and unload construction materials and equipment including:
  • Pavement marking supplies
  • Safety cones
  • Stencils
  • Traffic control devices
• Work safely as part of a crew in active roadway and construction environments
• Follow company safety procedures and project specifications

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Previous pavement marking and/or traffic control experience
