Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare stuffed meat products for cooking, including linking, tying, and hanging.
  • Assist with casing preparation, equipment setup, and supply restocking.
  • Conduct SPC weight checks when line operator is unavailable.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of rework when needed.
  • Sanitize production equipment including linker/clip machines using approved cleaning methods.
  • Ensure proper HACCP tagging and help maintain documentation accuracy.
  • Follow all company safety and food safety protocols including SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA standards.
  • Work in refrigerated conditions throughout the shift.

Work Hours

  • Typical start time is 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday. 8–10-hour shifts.
  • Schedule and start times may vary based on production needs.
  • Flexibility is required, including weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Able to lift and push up to 40 lbs., twist, bend, and stand for 8+ hours in a cold environment.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and committed to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
