General Laborer - Food Production

About the role

We are seeking a motivated team player to assist in carrying out duties in conjunction with the mixing of raw materials and spices. If you enjoy working with your hands in a fast-paced, cold environment and value precision and cleanliness, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Perform grinding procedure, including the operation of the following machines: combo dumper, grinder, screw conveyor, mixer, and mill
• Formulate pre-blends and final blends
• Load and unload mixer
• Shovel meat in preparation of final formulation
• Supply raw materials to grinding room
• Supply ready to stuff product to stuffing room
• Sanitize production equipment including linker/clip machines using approved cleaning methods
• Ensure proper HACCP tagging and help maintain documentation accuracy
• Follow all company safety and food safety protocols including SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA standards
• Work in refrigerated conditions throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs., twist, bend, and stand for 8+ hours in a cold environment
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Reliable and committed to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork

Schedule

Typical start time is 5:00 AM, Monday–Friday. 8–10‑hour shifts. Schedule and start times may vary based on production needs. Flexibility is required, including weekend availability as needed.
