General Laborer

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiencySupport ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specificationsFollow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of outputProduce goods as specified on the job ticket or other instructions given by the supervisor or team leaderFollow MPI procedures per job work center DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and understand job traveler and utilize computer job tracking systemVisually inspect for substandard sheets during all operationsMaintain efficiency and quality benchmarks per MPI standardsRequest any training required for you to succeedMaintain organized and clean work environment Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee's healthPractice safe working habits as detailed in the Company Safety Manual and Employee HandbookDo other tasks as directed by a supervisor Requirements Vision must be correctable to 20/20. Must be able to accurately distinguish and identify colors.Must be able to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift, including overtime as required.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 65 pounds.Must be able to push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.Must be able to perform postural movements, including occasional bending, throughout the workday.
