General Laborer

About the role

This General Labor position is responsible for learning the basics of manufacturing. After completion of the training program, you will have an opportunity in a permanent area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Identify material and count and record the number of units of materials moved or handled
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Communicate effectively with employees, both orally and in writing
• Be open to working overtime as necessary

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition and subtraction
• Must be organized, punctual, accountable, and detail oriented

Physical Demands

• Ability to stoop, bend, and safely lift 30–50 pounds
• Ability to spend significant portions of the workday on your feet (up to 8–10 hours per day)
